Stacy Wallace is Vice President of Made with God. She is currently working in the public sector in State Government where she leads security initiatives on State and Federal IT systems. Stacy volunteers on matters that protect individuals and systems from harm, which is something dear to her heart. When Valency Gohn, CEO of Made with God, came to her with questions about starting work that would eliminate and bring awareness to sex trafficking, Stacy prayerfully and without hesitation jumped at the opportunity to partner with Valency.
Jeremiah 29:11New International Version (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
During times of trials we often forget that God’s plans for us are good. Doubt, fear, and disbelief creep in to steal our joy. Thankfully we have words to speak in our darkest hour and in the most sensitive of times. These words have saved me. My story is no different than many others. I was lost. I was found. Whether we know Christ as a child or in our twilight, we are all on this journey together and have many similarities.
My name is Stacy Wallace. I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and have a burning desire to figure out how to continuously find peace. For me, this is a constant renewing of my mind and a heart to serve others who need to be reminded of how good God’s plans are for our lives.
I came to know the Lord as a child, the age of 10 to be exact, and He has never failed me. My life has proven to be difficult at times and my heart has been broken and mended repeatedly. Jeremiah 29:11 is a reminder, along with so many other scriptures, that our fear is no match for God’s love.
1 John 4:12
No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
It is through relationships and meaningful work that I see God. In you, in Valency, in the work we do to help expose the darkness of sex trafficking, and in ALL things I seek to glorify God. Without love there is darkness and fear. With love, all things are possible.
